Crowne Plaza Auckland - Room Service worth staying in for
Released by Crowne Plaza Auckland on Monday, 26 July 2010

Auckland 12 July 2010 - Crowne Plaza Auckland is now serving its new winter Body and Soul room service menu.

Offering something different for travellers, Crowne Plaza Hotels and Resorts has collaborated with Australian dieticians to design an in-room dining menu that is both nutritious and delicious.

The easy to read nutritional information key on the Body and Soul  menu, which identifies dishes to be lower fat, gluten free, omega 3, high protein, lower GI carbohydrates, higher fibre, or vegetarian, makes it simple for travellers with dietary requirements to stick to their routine. Dishes are also portion-controlled and created using fresh, seasonal and local ingredients.

"People are often reluctant to order room service due to the unhealthy options available. At Crowne Plaza Auckland we are proud to offer restaurant quality food from a menu that is also informative, so guests can be confident in what they are ordering," said Food and Beverage Services Manager, Crowne Plaza Auckland, Mohammad Tahghazit.

Crowne Plaza Auckland has received very positive feedback from guests about previous editions of the Body and Soul menu.

The new winter menu includes a variety of delicacies such as Oysters, Duck Leg Confit, Aged Beef and Slow Cooked Pork Belly - all at very reasonable prices.

And for traditionalists, Crowne Plaza Auckland continues to serve up fresh versions of room service classics like sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, salads and pasta.
