Venue Highlights

Located in Melbourne and Sydney's central business districts, Karstens Melbourne occupies two venues at 118 and 123 Queen Street. Our venue features 40 Conference and Training rooms and can host a variety of functions from 1:1 meetings up to 600 people banqueting style seating. Our rooms benefit from natural daylight, no pillars and a breakout area on each floor. We also feature Computer Training suites; designed for both software and web-based training and uniquely a floor of Mediation rooms.

At Karstens our dedicated conference organisers, IT support staff and operational staff all have a background in hospitality making us experts in delivering a professional, flexible and totally customer-focused service to make your Event, Meeting, Conference or Training session a success.

Location

Karstens Melbourne at 118 and 123 Queen Street in the heart of Melbourne CBD, is easily accessible to Flinders Street and Southern Cross Stations and walking distance to Collins & Bourke Street tram stops.
We are part of the exciting CQ building which incorporates: Citiclub Hotel Melbourne, Lanai Bar & Restaurant, CQ Bar and the Blue Diamond Club.
An underground car park is located in the building - entrance is via Little Collins Street, hourly or daily rates apply.

Accommodation

As the Citiclub Hotel is within the CQ complex, Karstens can arrange accomodation with your event. Citiclub Hotel is Melbourne's latest four star hotel, with options ranging from Executive suites through to Superior Rooms, all newly refurbished, boasting high speed internet access, cable TV and ample work space. The complex includes parking, fitness room, sauna and squash courts, making your stay a relaxing and comfortable experience in the heart of Melbourne.

Catering Information

We provide fresh, healthy and delicious food with a variety of catering options for your event.
We offer self-serve espresso machines for the coffee connoisseurs with skinny or full cream milk, hot chocolate and a selection of Twining teas.
From Day Catering Packages to Cocktail and Canape menus, Karstens offers a seasonal rotating menu to you receive a variety of catering options for your event.
Our catering team always caters for vegetarians and can provide other dietary requirements on request.

Recreational Facilities

Onsite, the CQ and CitiClub complex includes a fitness room, sauna and squash courts.
There are numerous Bar and Restaurant options to explore within walking distance including Melbournes famous laneways; Degraves Street, Flinders Lane and Hardware Lane. Local landmarks include bustling Federation Square, Southbank and Melbourne Town Hall.

Karstens can provide a range of the latest audiovisual equipment to enhance your event.
We have a dedicated in-house technical team to setup and assist you with your IT and audiovisual requirements.

Our technical staff can image and configure software and access permissions to suit your requirements. Whether you require a secure network, remote access, Intel supported Operation systems or client-trainer monitoring software, we can assist.
