A guesthouse since 1923, Barrenjoey House has been extensively renovated and restored as a delightful modern Australian restaurant and boutique getaway. The feeling is a charming and eclectic mix of “beach house meets Ivory Coast”, creating a truly unique experience.

Situated at Palm Beach on the Northern Beaches, just a 50 minute drive from the city, you’ll feel like you are a thousand miles from care.

Location

Palm Beach is the northernmost of Sydney’s Northern Beaches, situated on a narrow peninsula between the surf beach and Pittwater, with the famous and historic Barrenjoey Lighthouse on the headland. The walk through the National Park to the lighthouse is well worth the effort, with stunning views of the Northern Beaches and Central Coast at the top.

Well known as a playground of the rich and famous, Palm Beach boasts some amazing architecture and gorgeous holiday homes, as well as one of the most famous surf beaches in the world, also known as Summer Bay!

Palm Beach is just 5 minutes from the shopping village of Avalon with fashion boutiques, cafés, homewares and gift shops and a cinema.

Our restaurant serves a classic style a la carte menu with an emphasis on fresh local produce and seafood. We bring together a contemporary and relaxed dining experience with efficient and friendly service, while fantastic views of glittering Pittwater are resplendent in all areas of the restaurant. We are fully licenced and open 7 days from 12 midday.
