The Country Place was the first privately owned conference centre in Australia to have its quality management system ISO 9002 certified. This is your guarantee of reliable quality service. This is further supported by foundation memberships of the International Association of Conference Centres in Australia and the Yarra Valley Brand.

Location

The beautiful Dandenong Ranges with views of the Yarra Valley and Olinda state forest is our clients number one choice for their conferences. Awaken to the early morning laughter of kookaburras and the warble of the bush magpie. Located amoungst the Mountain Ash forests and fern gullies you can breath in the clear mountain air whilst taking in the panoramic vistas of the Silvan dam and Yarra Valley beyond.

Modern regional cuisine is created by our medal wining chefs from the finest selection of Yarra Valley produce. The mouth watering menus are complemented with a selection of the finest Yarra Valley wines.

Recreational Facilities

Take time out in so many wonderful ways at The Country Place. Facilities include tennis court, gym, solar heated pool, volleyball, jogging and bush walking trails and near by golf. Indoor recreation includes billiards and fussball tables, open fires, bar/lounges and massages by arrangement.

Special events can be arranged for a memorable highlight to your visit. Try a Wine Maker's dinner, Gourmet BBQ, outdoor breakfast, Music Trivia or Murder Mystery evening just to name a few.

Business Facilities

All conference rooms can be set to your requirements from standard conference equipment to advance audio visual faclitites. Wireless high speed internet access is also available. Conference and syndicate rooms have excellent natural light and full ergonomic chairs for all day comfort. Each room has individual climate and lighting controls.

Accolades

The Country Place has twice won the Australian Tourism Award for the meetings and business category. Now recognised as a Victorian Hall of Fame winner, following five consecutive wins at the state awards, The Country Place is the only privately owned conference venue to achieve this status for the meetings and business category.
Excellence, however, does not stop at the meeting room door. The kitchen brigade have won numerous medals both locally and internationally. More recently these include Silver medals at the Culinary Challenge held at the Melbourne Fine Food and Wine Show. Our Executive Chef competed in Dallas, after wining the National Chefs competition for the International Association of Conference Centres in Australia just to name a few.
