The Foyer and Museum for cocktail receptions and the grand Pavilion for exhibitions, dinner theatre and lavishly themed occasions - seating up to 350 guests for dinner. Larger functions are linked with a marquee in the gardens. Features of the venue also include historic thermally heated Pools, a Museum in the old changing rooms, its own theatre company and an outcatering division. LocationThe Blue Baths is located in the heart of Rotorua's heritage centre, Government Gardens. It is within a few minutes walk of the Convention Centre, Rotorua Museum, Polynesian Spa, Millennium Hotel and the retail hub of the city. Recreational FacilitiesThe Blue Baths has 4 thermally heated swimming & soaking Pools. There is a Museum within the old changing rooms which documents the colourful history of the building since its opening in 1933, when it was the first facility in the southern hemisphere to allow "the hitherto unknown pleasure of mixed sex bathing."
