Situated in Auckland’s Viaduct Basin, the Floating Pavilion is Aucklands ONLY floating venue. With over 3,500 square feet of internal function space, and covered decks on all sides of the building, the Floating Pavilion is a versatile complex, with an array of possible set up options.

With unparalleled views of Auckland City Skyline, The Floating Pavilion is a truly unique event location, and for something unique, try water taxiing to and from the venue.

The Floating Pavilion is owned and operated by Creative Functions Ltd, one of Aucklands leading event management firms.

With a team of 13, including production staff, executive Chef Michael Coombes, and event producers, we can complete an entire event package for you, from invites to beverages, menus to entertainment.

Catering Information

Our in house catering team is headed up by Michael Coombes - ex George Restaurant of Parnell (head chef).

We provide a full selection of menus, from finger food, to standing buffet, sit down buffet or A La Carte, to a BBQ.

We have a full range of wine and beer, and are more than happy to accommodate any requests you may have in this area.
