"Under the Sails" you will be surrounded by 103 year old Californian Redwood trees, native ferns, foliage & bird life. Take a guided stroll to your breakfast destination - greeted with champagne or piping hot coffee on arrival at the Grove? Try hot water bottles (with polar fleece covers) waiting on each seat with a matching polar fleece blanket & delegates will remember forever. The Redwoods has 5 SITES for functions & events. Event Impressions are contracted guardians providing full set up arrangements and event assistance.

Catering Information
THE REDWOODS is open to all caterers* and all Rotorua's best hotels offer superb services including tables, chairs, cutlery and crockery - just as if you were dining in a hotel!
For breakfast enjoy crisp bacon and fried eggs straight from the bbq or perhaps a picnic lunch, a cocktail function? For dinner consider everything from spit-roast to buffet to plated menus.
Most Rotorua caterers include beverage service and are fully licenced.
Event Impressions are guardians of this area and can offer assistance with finding a suitable caterer or you may go direct to your prefered caterer.
*special conditions do apply when catering at this venue so those not on our known caterer list will need confirmation before being allowed into the venue.

THE REDWOODS provide fantastic walking tracks, mountain biking tracks and horseriding for all to enjoy free of charge.

THE REDWOODS is a real forest and offers no pre set equipment, power or facilities.
Event Impressions are contracted guardians of The Redwoods and provide full set up assistance including lighting, heating, generators, toilets, stage, dancefloors and other event requirements.
Additional Information
The Redwoods is Crowne owned land under management contract to Kaingaroa Timberlands. Event Impressions are event managers for the five key sites available for such events in this area.
