Skyline Skyrides is situated high on Mt Ngongotaha and with spectacular views of the City and City Lake Rotorua. The Cableway Restaurant is suitable for every occasion. Skyline Skyrides has established a reputation for superb food and excellent service, with the Best of New Zealand Buffet and Grill being recognised as the best in the North Island. The Executive Chef can customise a set menu for your requirements.
The Redwood Forest Sails venue is a uniquely New Zealand dining experience located halfway down our scenic luge track. Set amongst mature Redwoods trees this area creates its own unique, natural ambience. State of the art canopy sails, brazier fireplaces and full gas heating make this an all-weather venue. Be prepared to LUGE to dinner!
Catering Information
Skyline Skyrides prepares all catering on site. Skyline is noted for its buffet menus however set menus are available on request.
Recreational Facilities
THE LUGE, a world 'first' proudly designed and built in Rotorua. It is fun-filled ride on a three-wheel cart, using a unique braking and steering system that provides the rider with full control.
There are three tracks to explore and with a total of 5km to ride there's a track for everyone. The scenic and intermediate tracks are lit for night luge riding.

Situated on the side of Mount Ngongotaha, 487 metres above sea level with 180 degree views of Rotorua. Skyline Skyrides is accessed by Gondola state of the art Doppelmayr Gondola the eight-seater cabins and a capacity of 2000 people per hour.
