The MCEC is the only convention centre in the world to achieve a '6 Star Green Star' environmental rating and is one of the most impressive architectural and environmental buildings in the nation. Featuring 52 meeting rooms of various sizes, a grand banquet room, a state-of-the-art plenary that can be divided into three self-contained, acoustically separate theatres, and 30,000 sqm of clean-span pillar-less exhibition space, the MCEC offers event planners unlimited options.

Catering Information

The MCEC prides itself on delivering the freshest, seasonal, best quality produce sourced exclusively from local and regional producers and farmers. Wine is sourced from a diverse range of wineries and growing regions across Victoria and then matched to the chosen menu. All catering for the MCEC is done in-house.

Each room is equipped with an innovative 'intelligent lectern', which allows the user to literally 'work the room' with ease and confidence. Easy to use and highly intuitive, the intelligent lectern controls lighting, sound, and data projection and is the ultimate in self-management tools.
