Originally built in 1929, the extraordinary heritage listed venue features intricate Spanish Rococo architecture and in recent years has undergone extensive renovation. Today the venue brings together the highest quality culinary experience in a setting that is unmatched in history, grandeur and ambience.

Having hosted some of Australia's most prestigious events, the Plaza Ballroom has proven itself as a multi function venue unlike any other. It is the perfect space for anything from a gala dinner for 500 or cocktail reception for 1500. It is also ideal for less formal events such as product launches and seminars.

Location

The Plaza Ballroom is situated beneath the Regent Theatre in the very heart of the city on Melbourne's prestigious Collins Street.

The entrance to the venue is adjacent to the Westin Melbourne.

Marriner Theatres operates four of Melbourne's famous heritage listed theatres; Regent Theatre, Princess Theatre, Comedy Theatre and Forum Melbourne.

Each of the theatres have venues within that can accommodate anything from an intimate dinner of 10 up to a cocktail party of 1500 guests.
