Venue Highlights
The Woolstore Theatrette represents a unique facility in the Hobart meeting market. It is a state-of-the-art, 100 seat room featuring comfortable tiered Sebel Encore seating with swing pallet. A ceiling mounted data projector enables the latest in audio visual presentations using a control panel situated on the lectern. This climate controlled room is limited only by the imagination of the user and has the ability to provide an experience that cannot be reproduced in any other Hobart function facility. The Roberts Boardroom is a 14-seat room featuring a dedicated Tasmanian hard wood board table. This table was custom built for this room with four apertures (covered holes) down the middle to enable cables to be fed through to power points, telephone or internet lines.

The Old Woolstore is conveniently located at Sullivans Cove, within 5 minutes walk of Hobart's CBD, Tattersall's Hobart Aquatic Centre, The Domain, The Theatre Royal, Salamanca Place, The Federation Convention Centre and Hobart's waterfront.

Conference Menus and beverage packages are available to meet all styles and budgets and dietary requirements can be catered for on request.
Hobart's best kept dining secret, Stockman's Restaurant, is located on the ground floor. Like much of The Old Woolstore, the restaurant represents an innovative example of how an older style building can be given a stylish, contemporary identity.
Specialising in Tasmanian inspired cuisine, Stockman's provides a range of affordable meals and is open seven days a week.
Specialising in fine Tasmanian beer and wine, where the cooler climate varieties excel, the Baaa Bar's blend of old world and contemporary surround is the ideal place to sit back and enjoy a relaxing drink at the end of the day.
Technical Facilities
Staging Connections provide state-of-the-art technical equipment and support in addition to the equipment already on site. The Woolstore Theatrette has a ceiling mounted data projector enabling the latest in audio visual presentations via a control panel situated on the lectern. In the Merino Rooms, Audio visual capabilities are unlimited with dual ceiling mounted data projectors, which include DVD, VCR and power point facilities. The Roberts Room has a data projector ceiling mounted enabling Audio Visual presentations to take place. All confernce rooms feature highspeed wireless internet access.
Business Facilities
The Guest Meeting Room is located in the foyer and is a service provided complimentary to in-house guests. A conference telephone is available for guests and this can be used in any of our function rooms. The Guest Business Cnetre is also located in the foyer adjacent to the function rooms and is a further complimentary service provided to all in-house guests. This room is equipped with two computers, a fax machine and a printer which are complimentary to guests. ADSL broadband access is available at $5 per 24 hours and is charged directly to the guests room account.
