Venue Highlights
Foothills Conference Centre is a peaceful, rustic retreat on a bushy, 20 acre site on the eastern fringes of Melbourne, with easy access to the Dandenong Ranges and the Yarra Valley.
Location
Mooroolbark is less than an hour from the CBD and about an hour from Melbourne airport, outside peak times. From the Eastern Freeway take the Canterbury Rd exit and drive about 20 minutes to Montrose, then turn left at Edinburgh Rd.
Accommodation
Foothills Conference Cenre has 54 ensuite rooms with eight more in two self contained cabins. 'The Cottage' has five bedrooms and 'The Lodge' three. Both have dual bathrooms and common rooms and are ideal for smaller groups or management teams.
Catering Information
With a full commercial kitchen and gourmet chef we can provide high quality buffet or sit down meals to suit any budget, seating up to 250.
Recreational Facilities
The twenty acre site has a variety of locations suited to team-building exercises, laser strike battle simulation, volleyball and other activities, plus tennis and basketball courts and a large outdoor pool.
Technical Facilities
Full audio visual facilities including electronic white boards, data projectors and screens, P.A. equipment, audioconferencing, and a training room with forty networked computers. IT support staff are on site full time on weekdays for technical support.
Business Facilities
Facilities include a main Conference room capable of seating up to 250 for dining, or 250 theatre style. There are also six other rooms of different sizes for breakouts and two lecture theatres, one with tiered seats and a capacity of 180. Plus a computer room with 50 networked computers. There is also a rotunda and stone-tiered amphitheatre for outdoor sessions under the gum trees. Jim's Group is Australia's largest franchise network and can provide speakers on a variety of topics at minimal cost. Topics include sales, motivation, customer service, and franchising principles.
