Nelson is home to over 350 full time artists, and art is a strong feature in our conference activities and partners programmes.

Our boutique winemakers have been winning the hearts and palettes of discerning wine lovers the world over, and attracting more than their fair share of prestigious international awards. Port Nelson’s thriving seafood industry is evident on local menus, where alfresco dining is enjoyed by the water, on vineyards, or in the compact and cosmopolitan city centre.
